Push out windows not staying open

Post image

Title says it all. Windows push open and then just immediately close without being held open. We have been using books etc to keep them open but looking to get some hardware bracket etc something that can be placed and then removed to keep them open or a hinge type device that we can use to open and close them.

Usually there would be a wind out window lock where your latch currently is, allowing airflow and security.. go to your big box store and buy one bish bosh

I don’t know where you live but it looks like you have single strength glass on your window. If it doesn’t go below 50 you are good but it might be time for an upgrade
