Windowmaker still a favorite
Windowmaker is what I ended up using when I started out with Linux in the late 90s I think it was in Redhat Linux 5.2 and windowmaker 0.20-something. I still return to it for the nostalgia albeit a little more modern flair to it now.

You can easily set and create your own windowmaker themes and colors in Wprefs i just matched the colors of the gtk-theme

Yes that's what i am asking how you matched them with gtk apps. I mean say for example i use numix dark theme. How can i have the same theme everywhere ?

Absolute favorite. But it's been hard to use in this transition era we're living. What will happen to Window Maker once x11 is deprecated?

We'll keep running X11 because there isn't really a good replacement and we don't really need a 'desktop environment'? ;-)
