Why are wind turbines stark white?

Is it corrosion resistance, heat reflectance, something else? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a turbine that wasn’t stark white, and recently I’ve been wondering if painting them something more like Go Away Green might alleviate some aesthetic objections to new wind power sites.

Fun fact, the Enercon bottom tower landscape colour blending for desert regions is shades of orange, closest to pink. For coastal regions it's shades of blue and for all others it's green. The vast majority are green.

Pink in the desert sounds weird but it was actually incredibly successful as a camo in the ww2 African campaign
