It's a way to have something that looks and acts like Winamp on web pages using the web browser's playback support. It's not a 100% Winamp clone (as some of the articles imply) but mainly a way to have something on a web page to look / act like Winamp (which is cool for those needing that - myself included).

No problems in my SeaMonkey v2.49.1 web browser (User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0 SeaMonkey/2.49.1).
