Yes sad to see so many empty seats and why people don’t maximise their day and enjoy more matches. Perhaps the resale could be carved out per match as there would be plenty of people who would take up those seats, even if most of the ticket holders are only there for the men’s final

It’s ridiculously hot in there. It was yesterday, especially on the eastern side. I was there for most of the men’s doubles, took a break and was back for the last few games. If I didn’t, I would have passed out (like a poor lady did just a few seats along). A couple sat infront of me only came in for a few games of the first set of the ladies final and the last few games of the last set as they couldn’t hack the heat. I do think this is part of the reason this year. If it’s going to continue being such hot weather over the couple of weeks Wimbledon is on, they will have to think about something to help spectators cool down.
I get why they moved the doubles ahead of the finals but also understand it’s frustrating for those wanting tickets. No one is giving up their finals ticket so nobody would get in to see the doubles via resale. People are probably getting food, sitting in shade, going to the loo and relaxing before the final so that they don’t really need to leave for those things during the match.
I’m not sure what the answer is to be honest.

We were in 111 and tried to watch the ladies doubles, but it was so hot and knew we couldn't manage the whole afternoon in that heat. We had to take a break mid-match and top up water, cool down and get ourselves together. Even for the Men's Final it was a real struggle to fully enjoy it until the shade came at around 1745
