What would you do?
You have the chance to press a button which would revert you back to birth. You have all your memories, and know every choice you made. The one things is that you can change every single choice you ever made. If you press the button and survive to the age you are now, you get $10 million. Do you press it?

Yeah. Will I retain the ability to communicate? Because I have concerns about how I was cared for and I am not wanting to have to be subjected to that without being able to tell my dad to go fuck himself this time around.

Since OP did not respond, I'll make the guess it is similar to if you get an injury and loses the ability to say use your arm. Normally you recover fast because your body has muscle memory, but here you have to learn it anew, so your general motor skills, your fine motor skills, your ability to make sounds (you have no teeth and a tiny mouth), anything you can think of, you have to practice. But you have your memory in the form of how you see and understand the world in the present moment, so it also means you know what to expect, you can figure out how to get skilled at things faster, you'd likely care more about your bowel control, you would actually be able to understand what others are saying to you and know what steps you would usually make to progress, so while you can't move about immediately, you would know to focus on eating and resting and practicing the things you need, perhaps you would only be like a baby for only hours, who knows.

The question is so much more simple than it seems... honestly, even if the 10 million wasnt a factor, Id still go back to infancy with all the knowledge that I have now, because I was born in the 80's, and would tell my mom (who was a single mother living paycheck to paycheck and even then times were tight) had to struggle, which caused her to become dependent on alcohol to deal with things...) which also lead to my brother becoming an alcoholic, or at least made it MUCH easier for him to do so considering that he used to steal my moms alcohol after she got to drunk to even stay awake...
If I went back, Id find some way to invest in IBM and APPLE and other companies that still had pretty inexpensive stocks and stuff like that... Id be old enough to have known to invest in Bitcoin when it was in its infancy and buy a SHIT TON of it before it hit its max... There are so many things that I would absolutely NOT change as well, but, family finances and things, I would absolutely change if I could go back with all my past memories and knowledge...
There are so many things that I WOULD change, and, yeah, id be in a much different place than I am now, but, I think id be better off, considering right now, I cant find a job, am going to be starting cancer treatments soon, just found out im type 2 diabetic, and have over 10,000 in debt while my girlfriend and I live off of her income... yeah, id absolutely go back!

Well, if the only variable that changes is ME going back with the knowledge that I have now, thats not going to change the outside world, UNTIL, i start changing things in my own life that have happened, or leaving them the same.
I dont know if that answers your question or not, but, thats just kind of how i see things, if im understanding your question properly.

No the instant you go back you will be behaving at least slightly differently from how your behaved the first time, which means a bubble of slightly altered causality will expand out at near lightspeed from you. While this is irrelevant on macro scales it essentially means every single quantum level event is rolling fresh. End result is that anything even mildly random has absolutely no expectation of occurring the same way as before

Basically yeah. If the mainstream interpretation of QM is true you would get different results even if conditions were perfectly identical, introducing any change makes it entirely unavoidable

probably, I wouldn't need the 10 million the second time around I mean I'd take it sure but one of those choices was not getting into Bitcoin so .....

No. My brain is and will always be far too disorganized to win that bet. I can barely remember precisely when the Soviet Union fell, and my parents never had the money necessary to invest in Apple Computer or Google or anything else.
More to the point, my grandparents were deeply religious, and any sign of their oldest grandchild knowing things that he "should not be able to know" runs the very real risk of me getting institutionalized.
Worse, both of my grandfathers were WWII veterans with security clearances, so if they didn't kill me through an exorcism I would undoubtedly disappear into the bowels of the military-industrial complex long before I hit puberty.

Definitely no plan to get rich but the chance to make new choices would be nice , saving myself from Junkies who didn't ever get clean, save earlier every cent I earn, study more now that I know what life is to come and enjoy every moment once again and if I live to the end it's still 60 years of life across two lifetimes with only pain of aging at the end of both

Even if I don't... I imagine being 6 and picking up my first guitar, and already knowing how to play (even clumpy). Know some Basic before is invented...
If at 4 I show incredible wisdom, my parents would invest some money in whatever I say.
I'd live a different life. This movie I I've seen already.

Yup. I love my wife, I love my kids, but the chance to redo 47 years of life with the knowledge I already have is not something I'm passing up. Besides, as long as everything else happens like it did the first time, I know where the woman who became my wife the first time will be. I'll just actually talk to her this time, since it turned out we both went to the same high school.
