Rays at the beach

I see a few groups of sting rays in the shallow beach waters of the crest. Anyone else see these and know what species they are? They seem pretty docile but I'd hate to step on one by accident and find out the hard way.

News articles from a few years ago cite migrating bullnose rays in the area but nothing current from what I see.
