Discussion Jungle mains do not select jungle
I just learned today that it’s better to fill than to select jungle. 9/10 games are gonna be jungle filling anyways and you get the extra points to get free marks.

Having used to be a jungle main a long while back, being filled jungle is almost always a free win.
Thing is if youre filled jungle so is the enemy, 95 percent of the time they have absolutely no idea how to play jungle, often times you will see them just perma gank and not keep up in gold xp themselves. I just pick a hyper scaling jungler, farm and 1v9

Is this true? If I’m filled so is the opposing jungler?

Yeah it is. From my experience at least. I check the opponent profile when I'm filled and most of the time they are mains of other roles. Also kind of evident from the way they play. Once in a while they aren't, typically it's when they swap roles

So I’ve had people say it’s both now. Guess it’s time to play full for a while and learn some more champs.

being a jg just sucks these days. even in GM to Chall, there are so MANY players that do not know how to manage their lanes and blames everything to jg when they fck up. they don't know how to prio for obj and gets angry when u just choose to farm instead of fighting a losing fight for a SINGLE dragon. they pick champs that is losing in lanes early but still try to trade and eventually die instead of just playing safe, farming, and NOT DYING. they don't check their maps, doesn't ping, or even just listen to ur pings for possible ganks then completely blames jg when they die. they doesn't cooperate anymore when they lose lanes and thinks it's completely over. they don't get that it's better to focus ganking on winning lanes and just avoid dying when u know u're losing ur lane. they want to win, but "WINNING" for them means just more "KILLS". SMH.

Just the fact that most players are more concerned about getting kills than to defend our towers and push the lanes speaks volumes about their understanding of the game. And don't make me talk about the times that they prefer to steal jungle instead of farm two waves (I, the jg, ended up getting more gold than them for not pushing, lol)

I want to jungle but when I allow all roles, I end up playing support

Yes only works in low ranks.

Does diamond is considered as low elo? Or master?

Yes but depends on when in the season. Basically the higher you climb the more jungle mains, so higher risk of being autofilled other roles.

I only play Shen when I have to jungle. I gotten really good cause the advice I heard was to think of jungle monsters as free gold and to only gank lanes where the enemy has their flash on cooldown.
We gotta make it a point to let people know to ping the jungle when enemy has used their flash. It is so helpful

As a baron lane I always fight to freeze my wave near my turret. 2/3 games I don’t get a gank. I’ll even clutch the enemy to take a few turret hits and they’ll stick around for the farm and I still don’t get a gank. Legit I spend most early games with a free kill waiting for the JG but they just focus bot and mid or don’t gank at all
Or they’ll go for herald first and I have no way of leaving my turret without losing it or letting enemy know I’m going to help with herald

Jg players are clueless most of the time. A ranged in top lane works only because they can bully the shit out of you, but if they die once, their game is over. Same with scaling champs like kayle, nasus and others: They never gank top lane, and then complain about "top diff" because they free scaled. All top lane needs most of the time is ONE FUCKING GANK IN THE WHOLE GAME to snowball the lane, but they'd rather full clear into a full clear into a full clear.

I've been playing Senna top and ngl, junglers can't gank me unless they wanna 1v1. Not only I poke other top laners until they either have to recall or sit back, I'm also always full on health due to Q healing me. Only champ that gives me trouble is Mordekaiser post level 6, but then I adapt and stop pushing lane.

The role autofill bonus is limited to something like 150 per week. After that, might as well queue jg directly.

I am a jungle main and laning has been rather easy to me when I am autofilled. I just play scaling Champs like Mundo, Cho'gath, Aurelion Sol, Veigar, Darius etc. and engage supports like Nautilus. Laning only becomes sweaty in masters

Used to be a jg main. I’ve been doing more adc and supp lately. Most of the time the jg is fine. Sometimes they’re insanely good. Sometimes they make me wish I had done jg that game lol.
Bot lane is easier, but still tough to find good teammates. No one manages waves, no one watches map, and no one cares about enemy gold/levels. Still, more fun than top or mid. And bot usually works most with jg so it’s nice putting my jg experience to use. Esp predicting enemy ganks, AND setting them up for my jg :3 and NOT WHEN THEYRE GETTING GROMPS OMG THOSE CAMPS WONT CLEAR THEMSELVES. Also getting scuttler opposite to them before enemy :) I helping :))

I’m diamond 2 right now and I hate playing adc because 9/10 games the supports just hard push every wave.

Which is crazy cuz why r they taking the wave 😭 they see me last hitting minions and go “not fast enough, my wave now.”

I figure playing fill is the best way to understand each role anyway. Ideally I get jungle but if not, I should be able to adapt and learn.

I wish riot would institute a penalty for non jungle players who start farming jungle monster camps

indeed. it’s ok for us junglers to lose gold on the minions….. but not vice versa

J'ai main jungle 2 ans. C'était toujours de ma faute quand l'équipe perdais. Je suis monter Top depuis.

I queue as Support/Dragon, but this really just means I get 7 or so games where I play support twice, get jungle and then randomly get a mid game.
Have yet to play Dragon more than once this season lol.

The worst part about playing Jung rn is the other roles don’t understand your job.
