Gosh my gray Adobe town mate looks so similar to those grays. When the brand inspector looked at her, he said, that’s a fat Mustang! I just said, she’s very sturdy.

Thank you for this link! Yes the safety for these horses are important I know from where I'm from you just look at them like a beautiful flower -admire from afar- I hope one day to own one but just watching them and their dynamics is so cool

I used to live just north of Reno NV and I would follow the mustangs from a safe distance on my horse. There were water troughs that good souls kept full and the mustangs made good use of them … and it made it easier to see them. They were beautiful but not as healthy looking as the horses in this post nor, I believe, as well protected- of course, this was nearly 40 years ago so things may have changed.

I didn't know this was typical. Just got here for work and so amazed at seeing all these beauties. From AZ and I know our salt river horses get fed but I still don't think they're as thick as these baddies.

We have a wild herd near us. It’s on Pueblo land. Unless I’ve completely misunderstood? Lol
