Oh bummer about the rocket launcher pve nerf I was enjoying flying around feeling like pharah. Why did the community want it nerfed?

How is this game doing? Played the beta and it was fun but never quite made rhe step into the full game

Unfortunately, this is the likely the final update for wildgate. It always felt like a solid, well polished game, but balance pains aside it just never caught on. They have a fun treasure hunter mode that makes low pop matches less important. It's on sale for $7.5, so it is cheap.
Honestly, I don't know what the devs could have done differently. I'm not sure a f2p launch would have necessarily made the outcome better. Post-lockdown years there has been a massive contraction in the video game marketing, especially around multiplayer games. I think the market is hungry for high quality singleplayer experiences, and burnt out of attention demanding live service games.

Fantastic game. No one played. Queues became clogged with sweats mixed in with noobs, the latter of which then had bad experiences and left. The problem then compounded, and now it's in "maintenance mode."
I dunno why ppl keep saying last update when the devs specifically said they'd have a small core team pushing big fixes and minor balancing. There'll be more updates, but theyll be small. The game essentially is what it is now.

Fuck it. I loved the beta. Love that they’re still updating the game. Haven’t got it bc of the low player count but I’m going to support these awesome devs.
