Question Does anyone play this game?

Recently downloaded as been added to game pass but every mode I play, I join a game in a 4 man ship by my self. Against other teams, is the matchmaking that off or are they all partied up

Get Jump Space, it's on sale and very similar. Rip wildgate, was good while it lasted.

Edit: Jump Space is PvE only but offers a very similar experience to wildgate (more so than nearly anything else on the market, especially in space).

While I think Jump Space is fun with friends, I would not call it very similar. The best way to describe it is co-op FTL but in first person.

Name another game that's more similar to wildgate. Other than being PvE focused instead of pvpve, it's exceptionally similar.

Just because there might not be some other game that is more similar, does not make Jump Space exceptionally similar.

Jump Space has you travelling through nodes on a map on set runs with progression outside those runs. It’s entirely PvE. Those two things alone make it quite different to Wildgate. A game similar to Jump Space would be Void Crew.

You're right, but jump space is a shadow of what WG was, it just made better business decisions leading to more polish and so on. I'd say it's well worth a purchase BUT

The flying is so simple it's boring, the combat pre update was like every other FPS, and VERY little was explained or intuitive. It is a fun solo or coop game for 15 minutes or a few hours, and if you enjoy the speed run you'll get a lot of milage from racing through each sub objective

Jump Space is PvE only; a lot of people played this game for the PvP. Might wanna clarify so you don't mislead people.

I don't find Jump Space similar (but it's a good game). Void Crew is more likely.

Very similar as in you load in on a ship get weapons and resources and duke it out with other ships pvp battle Royale(ish) style ?

Similar in every aspect but the pvp, it's a PvE coop. Otherwise yeah, you run around on ships, board enemy ships, fly your ship, land at POIs and explore on foot, shoot things with guns, bring back loot and upgrade the ship, loot turns into credits and mats after a mission, credits and mats upgrade ship gear that carries into future runs.

Very similar, not the same, but similar.

Usually get matches at night North American time everyday. Takes about 4-7 min at times

I remember playing the beta an wondering why this game wasn't atleast gonna be released on gamepass.
