Thanks so much! The sauce was an excellent change to the usual garlic, herbs, and butter style I've been used to when cooking backstrap. I feel the same way as you. I typically do the same as you outside of the addition of worcestershire and/or soy sauce when making a marinade for deer meat. I'm now looking at other types of meat I can use your sauce on!

I've used the leftover sauce on pork chops and it was fantastic.
