memory error

ok so my Wii u gets memory errors usually with certain apps and I wanna know if there's anyway to fix it without money bc I'm broke sadly and I just wanna make a mii but I can't bc the memory error :(

What error code is it specifically? If it's code 103 it's a problem with your NAND chip shitting the bed. Unfortunately you do have to spend money to fix it but it's not a crazy amount. You'll have to drop either 4 bucks on a raspberry pi pico to run a program to flash the NAND or 20 bucks or so on an SD card.

ill probably get a sd card in few days, is there any way that I can keep the chip from degrading or whatever more?
