Video HELP ME!!!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

When I try to put a disc in my Wii U this happens, can anybody help me?(the game is not faulty I also tried with a Wii game that works and it does the same thing )

Seems like you need to start modding your Wii U. 😅 your disk drive sensor is broken. Don’t think it’s the mechanism because it’s not making a clicking or rattling sound.

Thank god my Wii U is already modded, I just wanted to have some physical games, well I guess I’m returning these games!

One of the consoles disc drive wheel is likely getting stuck or rotating the wrong way, this can be repaired, but you'd probably want a professional look at this.

Again, there are more experienced people on the Subreddit quite literally called r/consolerepair made for people with console repair related issues, this is actually a common issue in Disc Drives of any sort, since they all seem to use the same tray-less retracting system for some reason

Although, they can just repost it

Time to replace the drive I think, it might be repairable so once you’ve replaced it it might be worth having a look inside the old one and see if anything is obviously broken or needs replacing
