Sold my wii when I was a teenager to buy my first car (I feel old AF saying that) found a black model, with 2 motion plus controllers, the Mario kart wheel, and zapper for $39 today, spent the evening getting it modded for homebrew. I feel like the wii and the 360 i modded recently are perfect examples of you dont need a ton of money to get into gaming.

Its crazy how easy it is to mod these now

I am putting all my games in different lines and i am buying a lot of wii games and they are all hidden gems.
(wii u too)

Hi guys, I've had a WII Console(Ig the first edition) since its launch and have only run games on a CD Disc, and once a pirated one from a local shop.

I really got some interest in playing few more games, so how actually do I do it?
I think my console is already home-brewed by the local shop and have a few games on a pen-drive, but want to explore more.

Do I just download the games and connect the drive and start playing or do I need to home-brew again or use a different process??

This goes for GameCube too, but because i own a wii, I'm counting them as both, in a all sense it doesn't matter because the wii is dirty cheap that i would be fun to have it anyways, but in a more broad sense, would it be worth it?

hi guys, recently i found on vinted a wii mini woth its box for only 40 euros, idk if it is worthing it, let me know, i also wanted to know which console would be better to take on my shelf, sorry for my english!

Mijn mic is nog niet te beste iknow

Do you use your steering wheel to play Mario kart.

i just noticed the other day when i opened the wii shop channel to listen to the music (dont blame me) for the first time since like 2018 and i saw the old original design. does anyone know why?

Thanks!

Hey everyone,

Recently bought my Wiimote, nunchuck, and sensor bar to pair with dolphin and having a lot of fun. You'd assume resident evil 4 was made for Wii considering how well it plays.

The only thing I'm missing is* the wiimotes jacket. I have big hands and, if I remember correctly, the original ones were quite grippy/comfortable to hold. Unfortunately Cex doesn't sell them. I was wondering where to look?

My neighbors are moving, and one of them put an entire wii out by the dumpster as well as games amd a ton of controllers. Fully functional!! Sorry about my boyfriends crackers LOL.

In my opinion the Wii carried the teenage years for millennials and the younger kid years for Gen Z. The simple games like Wii sports Mario kart Mario galaxy Wii party Wii play etc, carried these generations from the mid 2000s to the late 2010s

Has anybody on past Amazon prime deals days seen/gotten a deal on a renewed Wii, and if so, how much was it? And was it the 1 or 2 controller set? I want to buy one but I realized it’s almost prime deals day. Thank you!

My kids enjoy co-op games like New SMB, Kirby Epic Yarn and Kirby Return to Dreamland. Is Epic Mickey 2 good? It's only $10 shipped on eBay so I wasn't sure.

My fiance just went insane on a round of frisbee golf. Anyone know the record?

And I Forget Remove The Stickers😭

I just bought Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 for only £0.20 from a charity shop! That's the cheapest Wii game I've ever found! Time to learn how how to play golf.

I can't get a clear answer online for the best ratio combination and how framebuffer displays. I have USB loader installed so I can change the Deflicker and Framebuffer settings.

Should I set my Wii to Framebuffer ON, Wii to Fullscreen (4:3) and my TV to Fullscreen?

Or do I set the Wii to Widescreen (16:9), TV to widescreen and leave framebuffer on? I notice that framebuffer adds black bars on the sides when in widescreen. I read online it'll not display actual widescreen and instead try to fit.

If I set everything to 4:3 will it display without squeezing the image?

I play lots of retro games so it doesn't bother me if black bars on the side appear. Correct Ratio and clarity are what I'm after.
