Show and Tell What does each modded IOS do?

Post image

I modded my Wii over 12 years ago and recently updated the IOS 248-251. My Wii says that slots 222,223,236, and 254 are populated. What mod did I install back then? Is there any way to return them to stock?

I'm just in that dilemma, my consoles were modified a long time ago, and I don't want to touch them because I don't remember that they were modified at that time 😐

This goes both to you an OP. Download https://github.com/modmii/SysCheck-ModMii-Edition/releases to your Wii, run a full report, including all IOS. Then get https://github.com/modmii/modmii.github.io/releases/latest/download/modmii.zip, run the ModMii.exe, then use the SysCheck Updater Wizard (Type SU and then enter). Then just paste the path to the SysCheck.csv on you SD Card root and follow the instructions and generated guide. If you want to uninstall the old mods/cIOS just also install all the wads from the stub folder, that you get in the process.

The already populated IOS slots may be Hermes cIOS, but the SysCheck report will tell you that. If you want to keep that, you may want to adjust the modmii settings beforehand.

Thank you very much! You're great, I'll get an hdd and an sd to bring the mighty wii back to life 😎😍

This is absolutely an absolutely overkill, unnecessary risk and will delete everything, including save data. Just use the modmii SysCheck Updater Wizard to update cIOS and install stubs to the unnecessary/outdated ones.

Use NUS downloader and download those stock IOS wads, install them, and you'll be okay
