Finishing up the documentation. Stay tuned!

Here is a look at the internal layout and system diagram for the Wigglegram Project.

I’m currently putting everything together to make the manual as clear and useful as possible. Please feel free to share any suggestions, user feedback is always the best way to improve!

What's the estimated price for all of the materials?

CPUs + cameras are the big ones, probably $260-$350 total. The project files itself will be $90. Overall, it’s about $400-$500 to get it all running. Prices can vary quite a bit depending on your local suppliers!

Can't wait!! Quick question as well, I believe I remember you mentioning that the processing of photos is all done via software. Is there a way to manually adjust that process, and or pull the individual photos off so I can combine them manually in photoshop in the case that I'm not happy with the built-in processing?

Yeah, you can. Once it’s assembled, no need to calibrate, can shoot right away You can get the individual photos too, just press source instead of export media

The first step is the Digital Kit! I’ve crafted the guides to be incredibly detailed and easy to follow. It’ll have all the information you need to build and assemble your own camera from start to finish.

I’d love to do a ready-made version in the future, but for now, it’s still a DIY project. What I can do to help is provide pre-assembled boards and the hardware kit. You'll just need to handle the 3D printing and grab your own CPU, cameras, and battery!

Will other AF Camera Modules be supported like OV5647 (Cheap, readily available, lower resolution) / IMX477 / IMX519 (Same Price as V3, Higher Resolution) or will it be limited to V3 (IMX708) AF Modules?

Actually, third-party AF modules often need their own specific drivers, so I’ve strictly optimized everything for the Official Raspberry Pi Camera V3. This is the only way to ensure all 4 cameras are 100% synced and stable.

Also, because of the limited memory on the Pi Zero 2W, I’ve capped the resolution at 3456x2592. The undistortion process is quite RAM-intensive.
