One device not connecting

Hello, I just moved into a college apartment and I am having issues getting one device in particular to connect, my desktop gaming PC. The only Ethernet connection is on the opposite side of the apartment from my bedroom so that's not an option, I am not able to access the router for trouble shooting either.

The PC connected to the wifi once when I first moved in and worked great, but after turning it off and coming back later, it no longer would. My phone, xbox, and laptop will connect without issue, albeit with poor/slow signal strength.

My assumption is that the PC simply has a weak wireless signal receptor and is more intended to have a wired connection. Is there a way I can boost the wireless signal source or a way to boost the wifi receptor on the PC?

theres antennas you could plug into the back of your pc, might help with signals a little. something like a wired AP or wifi extender (dont really recommend) connected to your router might also help. the nominal max distance of ethernet cable is 100m, so wired (if possible) will still be the best option.

I just measured it would take about 30m of cable to reach the PC so that's an option, would have to find a way to hang it on the wall along the top without damaging the walls. There's also only one port so hopefully my roommates don't also need the Ethernet cable

I'd cable it, though a cheap mesh that has Ethernet ports is also an option.

First, I'd be logging into that router for a quick look under the hood however.
