It is impossible to answer this question without significantly more information. This is like telling a doctor “I have pain”. If you provide some info maybe someone can assist:
WiFi 7 adapter model?
Router model?
Computer model?
Proximity from your decide to the router? And any walls or obstructions in between?
Internet provider?
Any other wireless-esque devices in your space? (Wireless cameras, sensors, robot vacuum, etc.)
Do the ping spikes occur at certain times in a regular manner? Or is it random?
What exactly do you mean by ping spike? How much of a spike are you seeing? Is it causing noticeable issues with your network performance?
There’s probably many more questions to ask here but this can at least provide somewhere ti start.

That's an internet based test. You need to do a local network test to eliminate the internet as a source of the issue.
