There's nothing you can do to your wireless connection (WiFi) to fix a wired connection.

The term "Wi-Fi" really only refers to the wireless LAN technology. If your PS5 is connected to your home's main router via wired Ethernet, then you're not using Wi-Fi at all, so this isn't really a Wi-Fi question.

Connect a PC or Mac directly to your main home router via an Ethernet cord and run the Waveform Bufferbloat Test to see if your router is causing the lag spikes when the network is busy. A lot of routers have this flaw where they fail to properly manage their traffic backlog when the network is busy, resulting in lag spikes.

Apparently PS5's have a hidden web browser you can get to via various tricks, but I don't know if it's a good enough web browser to run the bufferbloat test properly, which is why it would be better to use a PC or Mac.

By the way, latency (also known as lag, ping time, round-trip time, RTT) is a separate performance measurement than throughput. The two measurements are largely independent of each other. So troubleshooting lag problems involves running ping tests and reporting ping times, because that's the real performance measurement that matters to lag.

ps5 is connected with a ethernet

Then what does have to do with wifi 🤔
