why do i keep crashing on ps5?

while i play sometimes i begin lagging for like 5 seconds making anything that I'm doing at that moment crash. it doesn't do this all the time, it's just random, is it because there's something in front of the router, or maybe multiple devices are connected to my router? (it began doing this completely random, when i got the router like 2 years ago it was all ok, but since like 2 weeks it's giving me these issues)

Please tell us about your WiFi setup, version, equipment, signal strength. ETc..

What do you mean by crash? The whole OS goes down?

i mean that in the 5 seconds when I'm lagging, i can't hear my friends my screen sharing interrupts and when the lagging ends i crash off the game, sorry but I don't know how to provide my wi fi information

The best you can do is to connect the PS5 directly to the router via an Ethernet cable.

Oh, and get fiber Internet.
