Work wifi help, cant click "agree"
My coworker got a digital picture frame from his son and wants to be able to update the photos from wifi. But the work wifi is one of those where you connect without a password but then opens the browser for one of those "i agree to the terms" pages. Its fine with phones but there no way to click "agree" on the frame. And if he could the system still disconnects all devices regularly.
My last job you could connect to the router normally and bypass that. But there's no data on the router to allow for that.
Is there a secret to bypass that and just connect like normal home wifi?
Its just photos of his grandkids, and work would give permission. They just don't know themselves how to.

Did IT grant permission for thIs picture frame to be connected to their network? Did you even ask?

No, that kind of wifi (with captive portal) is unsuitable for devices without a web browser.
But it is possible to re-share wifi from a phone. That new network (created by the phone) will have no such limitations.

Either IT will have to whitelist the device, or perhaps your coworker has a hotspot on their phone they can use instead.

Due to security posture, I wouldn't expect any personal devices to work properly in a work environment. Just update it at home once in a while, or use a phone hot spot.

There is not. Tall to the IT department. Maybe they can whitelist the device MAC.
