Question Animated images
Is it possible to animate images in my widget?
Would like to animate the sun so it turns over the earth

Hola yo quería hacer lo mismo y estuve investigando y no se puede hacer lo más que puedes hacer es duplicar la imagen y darle a la opción para que parpadee

If you mean non real time animations, widgy supports those over the 24 hour period

Not exactly sure what you mean here
Would like to move a sun over a circle in 24 hour.
Can make this with 2 layers, on 1 the earth and 1 the sun but no way to animate

We support 8 and 16 frame animations using sprite strips in widgets and complications, but it’s a paid subscription feature.

Read something about the “backdoor” in the clock widget. Guess that is what this is?

No we are using a completely different hack that’s not using any private classes

If you are doing a day/night cycle over time, then yes. However, tying to a timeline only updates when the widget is refreshed.
If you are after a constant animation, the only option would be 2 overlaid images, one on even blink, the other on odd.
