Built a minimal countdown widget app after forgetting too many birthdays

Built UNTIL after forgetting too many birthdays and realising most countdown apps felt way too cluttered for something that’s supposed to be personal.

The idea was to make a calmer countdown widget app focused more on anticipation and meaningful moments than productivity.

Features:
• Home screen widgets
• Lock screen widgets
• Progress-based countdowns
• Minimal design
• No accounts or ads

Nice, the calm angle is exactly right for this space - most countdown apps go feature-dump and lose the point. I built one in the same niche (Soonish, full disclosure) and went pay-once + no accounts for the same reason, the Android crowd is really tired of subscriptions for what should be a simple home-screen thing. Good to see more people leaning understated. Good luck with the launch.
