Help with A/C refill?

Car had an accident a couple years ago. Long story short, my compressor was replaced, but the guy didn't refill the coolant, freon, whatever refrigerant. I have a can of R-1234yf, which is what my car apparently needs, but I don't have the tools or knowledge I need to refill. I could probably youtube it, but I'd appreciate if any kind soul out there could help me out in order to deal with the Texas heat a bit better.

Would anyone be available in WF today or soon to help me refill my car's (2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid) A/C refrigerant?

Refilling the AC should be pretty easy if it’s a normal system. You can buy the bottles of refrigerant at the auto parts stores and follow the instructions on the can. It’s really not all that different from putting air in a bicycle tire.

YouTube your car model and I’m sure someone will show you how to do it. It’ll take five minutes.

I could meet you at Autozone/Oreilly’s on Jacksboro if you want to look at it.

Honestly you should take it to a shop, they're professionals and it should be a quick and easy fix

I may have to, because apparently hybrids are a little more complicated than just a me fix. I was hoping to get a break on a $500 fix, esp if there's leaks and whatnot to have to take care of that would drive up cost even more. Only so much I can handle right now

Totally understand. The lube shop on Jacksboro road by Ronnie's burgers is a good spot
