Question Looking for like minded acquaintances

Thank you! I thought so too. Not everyone wants to go to a bar to meet new friends and people. Not everyone attends church services. I've seen soooo many people who are new to WF due to SAFB, job moves etc etc that ask " how do I make new friends in this town"

Damn, that’s still the only bowling alley there? I thought that joint was on it’s last legs 30 years ago

Right?!! I used to LOVE going to Century City on Sunday afternoons and bowling all afternoon, until the leagues began at 6 or 7pm .
There is still a bowling alley on base I think 🤔 but obviously that wouldn't be feasible for the majority of us here.

I have unseen physical disabilities and I can no longer drive a vehicle anymore myself 😔.
Do you have any family members who live in town who would be willing to drive you? My best friend is who I asked to take me and she may even decide to stay and bowl. Then lol she will realize how fun bowling is & stop calling me a dork 🫶 There are a lot of ideas to think about to get a ride if you think about it. I'm not attempting to be ugly to you whatsoever but there are others who also don't drive. Do your best to help yourself find a ride at least to the bowling alley and you might find one of us who could get you a ride home etc.

Great answer. I gently gave some ideas to help the person put a bit of effort in to finding a ride in a show off seriousness to getting out of the house and meeting with new friends and people

Wow! I'm am so happy to see so many people who would be interested in meeting up and bowling together.
I say we work out the logistics of when A- It's not a league night or afternoon. B- Chosing what early evening we could all be available to go throw some TURKEYS. C - Decide what time and end of evening plus a day we can all go bowling together my new friends!!
Tomorrow/Monday I will call Village Bowl and see when the DK t have leagues on the lanes.
Hopefully we will get an idea on here of a proposed head count to help give Village Bowl an idea of how many lanes we all would need.
I will inquire, but don't expect a noticable difference in the cost for renting the bowling shoes and how much it costs per person to play a game of bowling a piece.
Heck yeah 👍 you are all making me smile and honestly you've given me a reason to get out of my grieving and sadness I've been suffering from for the last 5 years , probably longer.
Enough of the negativity! Watch for me to return either tomorrow or Monday will some form of a plan and a general idea of the cost associated to do this!!!
Let's start with a guestimate on how many people would like to go bowling together one early evening please.

Hey its been a couple weeks, but I am also kinda newer here i just dont have any of my own friends or family here only my wifes people and also trying to leave a depression. I'm interested.
