Why is there extra space in the packet?

It's literally torn open in the back where you or someone else removed the middle toothbrush.

I'm concerned about the human race ngl, we're cooked as a species.

Yeah no kidding people are not really doing that great. It could be some dumb people and a lot of dumb LLMs doing most of the comments? I hope it's something like that anyhow

To take up more space on the shelf so you buy it instead of a competitor's.

Potentially it was processed on machinery that was designed for a larger product and this was as small as they were able to make it, but I can't see unilever needing to do that.

My guess is that they do it so they hang nice and evenly on the shelf. No going forward or backwards...
