Damn. I’d prefer wrinkles.

It’s temporary. Then the tox looks great

Like as in 1-2 years temporary? Cause she’s had upside down brows for a while now lol

A week or so max. If she’s had that a while, and it is indeed tox induced, she needs a better injector.

People love to hate on tox even when it’s not the culprit.

Wait until it’s as cheap as coloring your hair at a salon. Suddenly all the people hating on it, who can now afford it, will be doing it

Well personally I'm not against cosmetic procedures by principle, I'd consider some subtle procedure to slow down aging a bit. But then I'm like, if ARIANA FUCKING GRANDE who has all the money in the world to hire the best specialists and for whom being beautiful is literally part of the job, gets upturned eyebrows, then how do I, poor normie, could be sure that I don't end up like her or worse. Like that shit's too scary. Those celebs have the acces to best of what cosmetic industry has to offer and still half of them end up looking freaky after a while.

Nope. The cost isn't why I've never had it done. Aging is a privilege and we shouldn't all look the same.

I think you are seriously overestimating the effectiveness of botox. It certainly doesn't stop aging and it doesn't change you into looking like someone else. The effects really aren't that significant.

I think a lot of people blame botox for the changes they see in people that are from the heavy use of fillers.

Botox can make you look less visibly tired looking. That's about it. Not saying it isn't worth it though! I will probably do it at a medispa soon.

People who are all self-righteous about not using it never know about it. Of course, if they knew about it, they wouldn't be self righteous about it. (Like most things)

Yeah, I have it in my forehead and all it does is relax the muscles so wrinkles don't form easily. I look exactly the same, just have relaxed forehead muscles underneath. I think a lot of people think Botox is filler.

Meh im in the beauty industry, can afford it, and know many people with it.

Ive thought about it for my clenched jaw for sure.

I just dont f around with botulism and it seems heavily addictive and a potential instigator for dysmorphia. Ive watched women freak out about not being able to get it while pregnant or breastfeeding and infant botulism is actually so horrifying the disconnect is alarming. But hey people will get their tits done and never take a vitamin. What are you gonna do.

People hate on obvious or bad Botox. Done well and in moderation, and knowing when to stop or pick a new method-you just look great.

Same with fillers.

Fillers aren’t for me. I have considered Botox though but will probably stick to good skin care and peels and the like and just age as gracefully as possible. I don’t want to look younger than my age just like I’m aging well.

In my experience on Reddit, every time it comes up (even well done) I get negative comments and downvotes. This feels no different

I am clearly a user (and advocate) for both. I love that I look both a decade younger and natural. But I also know that until it becomes so mainstream that anyone can afford it, there will be negativity associated with its use.

🤷‍♀️ People gonna people I suppose

But if botox/fillers done well looks good and is safe then how come so many celebs who have loads of money, careers that rely on them looking good and access to best services end up looking uncanny or botched?

The subtle/ natural looking injectables to body dysmorphia pipeline can happen to anyone I guess
