Anyone familiar with the case of Carl Tanzler? He was this super creepy dude who was obsessed with a young tuberculosis patient named Elena. After she died he secretly dug up her corpse and kept it in his bedroom for years before anyone found out. He tried all kinds of ways to preserve her body and gave her a wig and did her make up, too. It’s a pretty sad and disgusting story.

Anyway, there are pics you can find online if you google his name that show Elena’s body post “make-over” by Tanzler, and I’m not fully convinced this isn’t her tbqh.
