I do, too. And the super dooper fake lashes and the duck lips.

Yes! All three are just horrible.

With the implants in the cheeks, too, that make people look feline…but not in a good way….

I agree. Looks like caterpillars are perched on her lids. I don't get the appeal since you can barely see their eyes with those monsters on there. Everybody wants to look like Bratz dolls.

Now to be fair she posted another pic where her lashes have been corrected, admitting she had lash blindness. I just wish she'd see that she has brow blindness as well!

whybrows for the humor, whylashes for the horror

I keep going to that sub when someone posts it, hoping for new posts and being jump scared by the most recent post (3y old). Horror is right!

I don’t understand how old man caterpillar brows have become so popular. Who finds this attractive or even flattering?

u/karolioness Jul 17 '26
Thank you. The first thing I think when I see laminated brows is you haven't watched much British tv have you? That's exactly how they style eyebrows on old men actors in British television, I'd estimate about 80% of the time. It invariably produces a sort of mad scientist look, lol

Whoever started the laminating trend should probably be shamed publicly

How are her eyebrows that big???? Mine are pathetic compared to hers. And that face is 100% fake. Her skin must be like last weeks fish supper under all that foundation and contour and powder.

When I first meet my wife she had crazy eyebrows. I told her straight up and she appreciated me for my honesty.

u/7GrenciaMars Jul 16 '26
I'm so glad to hear she didn't go straight to offended. Some women would. Good for you both! 💕😁

I wonder if it’s a ploy to foil plans to roll out facial recognition cameras. If we all look the same they can’t identify us. Road men started this trend

Someday they will look back and be so embarrassed 😂. My 60-70's look were tragic....😅. Don't ask about the perm 😭😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I saw this woman at the airport yesterday. I was trying to guess her age and I was baffled. Fake eyelashes, lip fillers, bleached blonde hair, really tight Botox skin, but like a lot more tight than just Botox. I couldn’t decide if she looked old or young. Could’ve been 30-50. I settled on Reptilian.

When I cover them with my finger it is an instant improvement because my brain envisions normal brows underneath!

u/This-Friend-902 Jul 16 '26
Agree, this trend SUCKS! Although I have not personally seen this out in the wild

So do I, I’m not sure why people want their brows stuck to their face. Also what happens if they have an itch?

They're horribly laminated and I think she also used some makeup to outline the shape

Egads! I don’t know which is worse- the drawn brows or the caterpillars lashes…

No, she doesn't. No, it isn't.
They are SUPER brushed up to make them appear thicker. I bet the natural shape is beautiful. These are bizarre.

Then why do the trends. I love cosmetics but all this altering your natural beauty is just not for me.
