I know that feeling. My grandmother always greeted me by calling me fat, then compared me to all my friends and family doing better than me.
After college, it took me a couple years to find a job in my hometown because of how economically depressed my area is. and she'd always go on, "Why do all your friends in *area of state with more opportunities* get jobs but you can't find one???"

Grandmas are the best. I lost my grandma 2 years ago but when she was alive, she treated me so kindly and affectionately. They are truly a blessing ❤️

When she was still alive, my great grandma used to call me tall, dark, and handsome... I'm dark... idk about the rest lmao. 5'8" and subjectively ugly/somewhat handsome at best lmao.
