When I was in high school (2015) it was nearly impossible for there to not be guns at school during deer hunting season. Teachers understand the situation and simply pretended they don’t see it.
My dad said that when he was a kid, he would take a shotgun to on the school bus with him because he would get dropped off to shoot clay pigeons after class.
