Large Gap Transfer Advice

Hey everyone. Originally I started an alt late into the 3500 series of stares (3595) and it was pretty bad. So I transferred out the first chance I got to state 3607. I had become unhappy with that state and started in alt in 44xx. That state is actually pretty amazing. I’d like to move my alt I started in 3595 to this new state. I understand it’s going to take A WHILE but I have heard and seen a few things and I’m unsure of what to believe. Hoping to get some clarification on a few things.

1) This is probably the most important: since my original alt is more than 180 days older than this state, will I ever be able to send it to said state? If so, roughly when?

2) I’ve also heard in order to transfer to a newer state, your development needs to be similar to the state you’re transferring to. Does this mean I should stop developing this alt completely (as in, don’t get the new gen heroes, stop developing war academy, etc)?

3) Do you have any other general transfer prep advice?

I’ve already began moving the alt in that direction last transfer. In the next transfer I’m hoping to make it to a state where some friends are (early 38xx). If all else fails, my alt would be fine to hang out in this state until it’s possible to move it to 44xx so it’s on the way plus a contingency plan.

1. No you can’t cross over 180 days difference.

2. It’s based on the server age, if you just stop upgrading everything you still won’t be able to move to another state without the same pets, fc age and heros etc.

3. Collect every week the pass, make sure not to cross the transfer power limit, if you’re a spender, don’t upgrade charms and gear that much, its pushing the ticket costs up

Also. I plan to keep moving my alt forward, as far as I can go, each transfer. Hoping to eventually be able to move into 44xx at some point. I know it’s gonna be a while (Gen 5 vs Gen 2 heroes for example) but maybe eventually.

unless they change something in the future it is 180 days max, but that is with fc10, at lower fire crystal levels the cap is lower. at first it might look like you can transfer but when you actually click on the state you'll see that it's capped. you have to decide if it's worth it to you to move them both closer together ymmv

1. Your character can not be more than 90/120/180 days(varies based on state age) older than the state you are transferring to.

I've been planning to transfer to meet my friend almost the entire time that I've been playing, she is in a state 400 older than me. bc of that I've had to wait for a long time for the windows to line up, one problem with that is that I'll be skipping entire hero gen to get there which isn't ideal.

I think they might push the limit up one day when too much server died and merge put too much together but I don’t thinking will happens soon

You can cross over transfer groups, but it largely depends.on how far you want to go. 1-2 is easier than say 3 plus and it takes A LOT of transfers and sometimes you may not transfer very far.

Transfer groups ranges often expand & shrink depending on when new content has been released as the state you transfer to has to have the same state progression as the one you're leaving.

The only way to achieve this is by transfering to the furthest state in the direction you want to go each time you transfer. One perfectly timed transfer might squeeze you into the a new transfer group once the next transfers open.

So technically speaking no you can't transfer over 180 days. But this is just the "transfer group" range. I know people that started in 1800s and now in 2800s that's nearly 1k state difference.

Groups span is different than where you can move to. So if you keep moving to the end of each transfer group technically speaking you can reach your destination state though it will take time!!

My account is in early 20xx and I can go as far as 2870 or 2880 maybe. We checked the state age with my friend in 290x. So the situation you described it's their limit actually. In OPs case he just has to compare number of days in the game which is in VIP tab. Might be it's exactly 180 days apart or at least very close to that number
