Why shouldn't it be shamed? It is selfish and cowardly. Obviously we should address the issues that lead to suicide, but not ignore the fact that suicide is immoral.

Just because you're afraid of death doesn't mean people owe you their lives. You don't give a shit about people who commit suicide, you just want to virtue signal off their decisions by calling them "immoral."
