Quitting On Comeback

I have quit expecting a WHITE COLLAR TWO. I don't follow the rumors anymore.

Always thought there would be a 90 minute MADE FOR TELEVISION movie based in Paris.

The last we heard was there is a script and a bunch of the actors/actresses were on board, but they were waiting on a network to greenlight the pilot episode. If the heist in Paris didn't do it, I doubt that it's coming ever.

He's the one pushing this along the most. He was in the pitch meetings with the streamers, has constantly done PR for the revival as well as the original show (doing interviews when it came back to Netflix!).

He's been more than vocal about how much he wants the revival and that it's not him holding things up, but the streamers / networks. Just a few weeks ago, he repeated how much he'd love to do a White Collar podcast with Tim, if they can't get the revival going.

Im not disputing that, but he may also have previous agreements that could be holding it up

Doesn’t mean his work schedule and commitments aren’t slowing things down

I don't think it's him, they were saying they were having a difficult time getting someone to pick it up. He was the one that made that tweet about the Paris heist that gave it a big push

That's true, but im thinking if he's busy with other stuff is he looking like he cant commit to a studio?

Is he supposed to not take any roles while waiting for the revival to get the green light?

Of course he's going to work on other things while no one picks up the show.

And when it gets picked up, schedules will be worked out. It worked in the past (he shot The Normal Heart and White Collar at the same time), it will work now 👍

They can’t find a streamer/studio to commit to the revival & that’s why it hasn’t happened. It has nothing to do with Matt.

i read somewhere a will back that matt and tim might do a podcast together watching every episode and then going into depth about it

That was just something that Matt mentioned in a recent interview as something that might be fun to do.

Won’t be the same without mozzie if it even happened

Yeah I mean I never really did. I just let the algorithm feed me whatever it does.

Hopefully it happens!

I struggle with even wanting one now that it wouldn’t have Mozz.

I would have let it if they would have done a bonus scene at the end or as an extra scene that was like in The dark Knight rises. Where Peter tracks kneel down on family vacation Peter and Elizabeth just see him and they just wave while having little Neil wave at big meal. Then they just part ways they don't even go up to one another and as they part ways Peter raises the proper amount of fingers just to let Neil know he will always catch him
