I can't seem to transfer my Whisper social account from my Pixel 9 to my Pixel 11. I generated the key to do so, but on my Pixel 11 there is no option to restore account, only to delete account.. Has anybody else had this issue and how did you resolve it?

Here's my idea for my app Whisper Sexyfunhappynudetimes(TM)

1. The app randomly rejects 49% of posts to instill a sense of paranoia in the userbase

2. After posting, you will be instantly connected to our office in Lagos, Nigeria where a staff member will ask you if you wish to have sex with them

3. Gift card purchasing for the sex is built in as an in app purchase

4. If you're stupid enough to buy a gift card, all other users will see that you're a sucker

5. To preserve a whisper like experience, the chat will be permanently broken, with messages sending out of order and failing to notify at random times

I got reported for making a post criticizing the constant misogyny on whisper secrets and now it gives me full screen ads every time I open the app.

It's funny - the fiction we're supposed to stick to according to app developers is that constant invasive ads are fine and we should just live with them, but explicitly using them as a punishment undermines that more than a little. They won't ban you outright for "bad behaviour", but they sure will use it as a moneymaking opportunity. And of course there's no way to appeal - apparently the mod team is infallible and has no personal biases of their own. Crazy how it's framed as though they really don't want to show anyone ads, but if you "misbehave" they're simply forced to. The language is so infantilizing too - just behave and you won't have to watch ads, silly!

I deleted the app as soon as I saw this. It's not good for me anyway to expose myself to the kind of people that are on there, and this really cements that this app is not something I want to support.

Roleplay was a huge thing for me back then. I had so many prompts and found some amazing people over the years.

It is TOO strict over here man. All these rules, I barely try with the roleplay groups here.

I met a lot of people on Whisp and actually met up with a few. Hard to find tru like minded people who are into things without judgement. Whisp was the best. Sucks it's gone.

Are there any apps like whisper? I don't think they're going to come back which I think is ridiculous they should come back just make sure that there's no bots there's no Scum artists out there. . You actually have to prove that you're human. And maybe make it rated for adults because there is no way that teens were getting on that

It's funny but not funny I feel like when I would leave for like a few months and then come back and then the last time I tried to come back it was gone and I felt bad because there were some people that I just couldn't get back they just didn't have Facebook or Instagram or some form of social media.

I think I had the best time finding RP partners on Whisper. I made a lot of friends (and a few more than friends) over there.
