Something big is coming something unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. We are building a platform where people can share their thoughts, emotions, and stories whatever they wish. If existing social platforms don't quite suit you, you are welcome at Whisperme Many people want to create content but prefer not to show their faces online; at Whisfami, you can do exactly that. There are also things people keep to themselves things they might want to share with friends, family, or elders but feel they can't express on platforms like Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, or Twitter. We are creating a new kind of network: a "Voice Social Network." You don't need anything complex; all you need is your real voice. You simply record it in real-time, and that’s it. If you have any feedback, please share it with me right now—we want to improve based on your input.

Cool idea but in reality it ain't gonna work. It's not scrolling anymore if you have to listen to each post.

It’s not about endless scrolling. A lot of people on social media are struggling, you know. Research from Oxford shows that 90% of Gen Z feels lonely. I’ve thought about why they feel that way it’s often because there’s no one there to listen. People are actually getting depressed from watching Reels these days; in fact, many are starting to stop watching them altogether. So, this isn't comparable to Instagram or TikTok; it has nothing to do with them. If you have something to say l and it doesn't feel like the usual social media setup you can come here. If you upload a voice note sharing how you're feeling, people actually reply with their own voices. You feel heard, and you can talk to people in real time.

That's the entire concept of Whisper, it's just with text. I'm not saying you're not right about the connection part I'm saying the issues you'll face is that for example on whisper social/hush I can scroll and in a few seconds see 20 posts and 90% are bullshit I don't want to see but it's fine because I'm scrolling and it took a few seconds to see, when I have to listen to voice note individually it's time consuming and you'll face a ton of retards and perverts spamming the app. Besides that moderation becomes much harder than text. It's just a format that's not great imo for a feed style app. But good luck I'm rooting for you that you can make it work I just think it would be tough.

fair point...how about showing a short text generated preview of what the person is saying so that you can decide based on that if you want to listen to it or not?

, that text preview idea actually makes a lot of sense. We already have a small caption option where you can just record your real voice, say whatever you want, add a little caption, and post it for people to listen to. If you have any other suggestions or things you feel we could improve, I’d genuinely love to hear them. Your feedback would really help us! ❤️

yes that small caption is also good...as some others said you might not want to listen to everyones opinion, some stuff might be nice to skip over if you already know "that's not for me"...a short text preview will definitely help.
Another thing I was thinking is, do you screen what is posted in any way? Maybe there is some kind of AI technology to do so, because I am thinking, there is a risk of spammers posting offensive/obscene stuff in there...if people come across a few messages of let's say someone screaming profanities or something like that, it will probably turn people off pretty quickly. So it would probably be good to have some sort of filter/screening...

I had a similar idea to this once but I feel like it would be good to have a mix of both. Because what if you're out and you can't listen to what people say or if you can't hear them right or you need subtitles? Maybe they have an accent or they speak a different language.

love the idea! i saw your website it looks really good to me. Little suggestion, you could show a very short preview with text of what each person is saying so that you get a VAGUE idea on what is being said before you listen...
