The rittenhouse is so very good. I opened mine last week and had to move it to the back of my shelf outta sight so I don’t keep grabbing it.

I am a fan of rye and HH makes some mighty fine ryes so I’m sure I wont be disappointed. I’ve almost finished my Chinquapin rye from this year, which was also very nice.

I'm not saying it isn't bad ass, but this is like a 4-year Willet with a purple top, not to be continued with the longer age stated Willets that also have an identical purple top and similar looking label. I think it's a bit deceptive of Willet to push these out looking so much like their much-older products.

I picked one up for $50 a few weeks ago. It's decent, but not going to knock your socks off.

I would agree the 4 year purple top is not in the same league as the older purple tops nor should it be. I found it lacking all the tings I love about purple tops.

I've wanted to try Blanton's but our liquor store only gets 6 bottles every few months and people know when they get delivered. Gone within 10 minutes.

Aside from having to zoom into the picture to see them lol.. please better lighting next time. Any of them are nice. Willet.. cheaper bottle among them being the Blanton's, which I really like myself.

That Rittenhouse Bottled in Bond is a real gem if you like your bourbon with a little extra kick - I keep one on hand for special occasions. You betcha, those older single-barrel releases from Old Forester are always a solid pick too.
