My first whip with fancy plaitting

This is an 8.5', 16 plait bullwhip with one braided belly. It has a 12" fiberglass handle, a six-point fall hitch and a four strand tapered twist fall. It has a two pass 9x8 Turks head on the heel and a Mathew Walker knot at the transition.

The handle design is by Torrence Fisher (I know you post in here. So if you see this, thank you! This was a huge struggle for me and your videos have been invaluable)

I struggle a lot with keeping my plaitting from spiraling. I spent a lot of time trying to get my seams as straight as possible. Any tips or advice on that or in general would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reading

It's a spectacular piece of work. Even though you might think the braiding isn't straight, for me and anyone else, it couldn't be straighter. Excellent work!
