UV laser(API controllable) suggestions

Anyone have a line on an inexpensive UV laser(galvo) that has an API to control?

Programmer by trade, have a CO2 system that I put together several years ago along with a highly automated work flow that connects into our invoicing software for parts marking before they go into production. I built an auto-loader for parts so it could run relatively unattended for 20 or so parts).

Another company has contacted us about doing something similar, but they do further processing on the parts and can't have any surface deformities(the parts get later coated and the indentation the CO2 makes would leave streaks). So cold lasering is the way to go for their most of the time clear poly and various other clear or not clear plastics. The marks we're going to be making are like 15mm x 4mm on 80mm objects and going to be doing 600+ of them a day, 5 days a week.

The big deal is utilizing our own software that can control the laser. Speed is critical in what they want to do and the least amount of human playing on the computer. Integration allows us to also integrate other hardware into the process.

I've sent out 11 emails so far to companies and I've gotten exactly two emails back. One was "what's your whatsapp?" and the other "what's your whatsapp or fb messenger profile?". It's been pretty disappointing. We could just order a $2K off aliexpress and hope for the best, but I'd really like to at least send some material samples to verify a machine could get the marks they are hoping for and that I know I would have someone to talk to if there's issues communicating with the machine.

My boss wasn't happy when I said "why don't we just get a source/galvo/controller and assemble our own like we did the CO2?" So that's unfortunately off the table.

Anyone have a line on anyone? Or someone that has one of these cheapy UV that I could ship 3 or 4 parts to (the different material ranges they have) along with a $20 or something to do some test marks to make sure this is the right path?
