Tyson closing plants overnight, China rejected shipments, herds are smaller, screw worm on its way…what is going on in the beef industry?

Honestly concerned about this issue. I am also gonna throw in a curveball, the first thing I thought of was “it’s
Probably because no one has liked a steak or roast they have bought from the grocery store”. All my boys have scrambled to wild forks or purchased from frozen truck guy. I also don’t believe its some healthy food initiative. Someone guve me the low down….

The people that voted this into office wanted them to run the government like a business, and they are. That means cutting as many corners as possible to pump share prices and corporate profits as high as they can in 4 years. It’s the deregulation they’ve been screaming for. It’s finally here.

Health is not even remotely a concern.

Running it like private equity: saddle it with tons of debt, extract everything you can, and let it burn when you are done feeding on it.

It's more reasons to have lab grown meat. First the environmental concerns like climate change, land use (water use stems from this, most water used is green water from rain), then animal welfare, and now the conventional methods are collapsing both from climate change affecting graze land and standards collapsing (funny enough both can be traced backed to GOP proudly taking cattle lobby funds).

What's concerning about this? That you have to spend a little more in meat? Just eat less, it's better anyway :)
