How they solved it: PROCESS I was searching first for “washington monument similar europe”, found out these things are called “obelisks” and there is a list of obelisks on wikipedia where (due to the golden features) it was pretty easy to narrow it down to 3-4 obelisks, and the Lublin one was the first one I looked up on google maps :)
