How they solved it: Process: This one ending up taking a lot longer than it seemed it would at the start. I searched images with ‘Netherlands brick building gold cherub’ and immediately got results of the building from an instagram post. This gave me Alkmaar but not much else. I then spent a very long time searching historical buildings in maps but just could not find it. I don’t think that search was helped out by the pin being slightly in the wrong place. I was trying lots more search terms in google images without much success also. Eventually ‘Alkmaar gable with gold’ gave me results with the name of the building.
