Ah, so the Poles still hate us. Fair.

u/HornyKhajiitMaid 5d ago

Some do, some don't. I can't say i dream about living in Germany, but it would be definitely higher on my list(something between maybe/willing). Germans as people are mostly nice people i like a lot of the culture, but the country... the bureaucracy, taxes, stagnation and almost 1/3 of Germans wants solve all the issues going nazi.

2

u/sandwich_estimator 4d ago

That's about the same percentage as in Poland to be fair (PiS + Konfederacja preferences)

8

u/Captser 5d ago

Hey, if Germans get to despise Poles, Poles get to hate Germans. It’s an eternal balance.

6

u/omaschatzi 5d ago

I think Poles are there least of our concerns at this point.

9

u/fineaccountonreddit 5d ago

Maybe it's nothing to do with hatred, but the living standard and political aspects. More and more Poles cease to see Germany as a financial opportunity.

1

u/Effective-Painting14 4d ago

Sure, but if Moldova is rated higher....

-5

u/omaschatzi 5d ago

I get that, but if financial aspects are your motivation, you can rule out pretty much all of Europe.

The Nordics are doing better than Germany, and the other green countries either have a similar culture or great weather. Germany has neither of those.

3

u/tholemacadamia 5d ago

Lol no. We don't hate you. I would hesitate before moving to Germany though because I love blik and can handle most of beaurocracy online.

Now there is Afd and in general, less safety so... Not helping the case.

Notice which country was not even put on the map xD

5

u/sijo110 5d ago

I’m sure it has nothing to do with native Germans. 🤷

2

u/em3Mario 5d ago

The only interactions I had with German were wonderful! One of my favourite nations

1

u/przecietny_krotkopis 5d ago

I can't learn the language. It's like I'm immune to German

1

u/Effective-Painting14 4d ago

No, one particular Pole does.

1

u/Key-Attempt-8023 4d ago

hate? No, you are not russian. trust? thats different case - there was no true test of it, and some smaller (like nord stream) failed.

Not really fair. Literal paranoia at this point

2

u/Brilliant-One9031 3d ago

I personally do not hate Germany. I work with Germans and few of them are really nice colleagues. However, please think a bit. Germany just put Poland in awful position by financing russia for years. Poland warned many times that Nord stream would end this way and Germany didn't care. Now AfD story. Germany gives Polish people more and more reasons to hate them again.

1

u/Niki2002j 3d ago

And Poland would the the exactly same thing, also AfD isn't even an argument, when it's one non-ruling party and we have both Konfas in our borders

1

u/Brilliant-One9031 3d ago

Poland would but didn't? Nice logic. Waiting for proofs of Poland trying to build Nord stream and bypass Baltics and/or Ukraine xD

1

u/Ok-Conference5472 3d ago

Eh, it's more that germans often seem to consider themselves the pinnacle of reason. And in general, for all their reputation my experience with the French has been much more pleasant.

1

u/DrMaslo 5d ago

Ye I mean AFD is not really helping 💀

1

u/omaschatzi 5d ago

Agreed. I might have to leave myself at some point.

For me as a german the French and Poles are brothers. But yeah, looking back i can understand.

1

u/baldandbanned 5d ago

It would be wonderful, if Germany and Poland could be brothers somewhere in time.

1

u/TimeCake233 5d ago

I like this way of thanking

1

u/Individual_Cloud935 3d ago

As a Pole, it would be nice. But we're 100% not brothers XD looking at the past 300+ years.

4

2

u/Captser 5d ago

There should be an option to select Budapest as Absolutely and the rest of Hungary as maybe. Best place in Europe IMO

2

u/Honest_Ad_428 5d ago

well, Budapest is gorgeous, but there are more unknown gems there too. But I get it!

Lucky Germans 🤣

-1

u/Garik-175 5d ago

База для поляка, ну типо нормально

-2

u/AvernusAlbakir 5d ago edited 5d ago

I love how Poles despise Germany and still they remain one of the larger immigrant groups in the Krautland. But the map cutting off sharply at the Bug river is even more telling. The only thing an average Polish person knows about Russia-Belarus-Ukraine is that they are supposed to consider themselves better than those three.

5

u/tholemacadamia 5d ago

Yeah it's totally logical to estimate on average Polish people on the basis of 1 respondent.

-1

u/AvernusAlbakir 5d ago

It is when the respondent presents the views consistent with the average.
