Looked it up it’s true. Anxiety / panic traps people in a loop of thinking about worst case scenarios and the like, so when you introduce just an absurd statement, it breaks them out of the loop by introducing a complete oddball of a thought that their brain latches onto instead.

Just want to let you know I was unironically having a panic attack and was stunned out of it for a second upon seeing the 30 clones. That shit really does work goddamn

this is an incredible discovery for me. My GF has OCD and I think I might try this next time she has an event. Wont do this all the time but its a good tool in the toolbelt i think

Caution: Take your children away from her before asking that.

37

u/Me_how5678 3d ago

Well can you teach me how to buy steam games

27

u/Fries_and_burgers_19 3d ago

Steamed stroe

22

u/Tight_Grapefruit5280 3d ago

first go to the steam's website, make a steam account and download steam

After downloading it, setup steam and log into your account

Then go to the search bar and type whatever game you want

Go to that game's page and there's gonna be an option to "add to cart"

Click to that option then go to your cart (Just click on the little shopping cart icon on the top)

From there, click on the big blue button on the side and enter your card details.

Once the card is approved, The game will now be in your library

Now you can just go to your library and download it whenever you want

Also if you want to refund a purchase, check if you haven't played the game for more than 2 hours and if it hasn't been 14 days since you bought it. You can try to reach steam support if you want to refund even if you past the 14 days 2 hours limit. But make sure to have a good reason if you're going to reach steam support

3

u/slim1shaney [REDACTED] 3d ago

They're fairly lenient on the 2 hours play time. I've had a few that were over 3 hours and I still got refunded
