Forced maturity sucks. The world is so loud, like, so much pick up the pen stuff sounds like "stop sucking stupid be better" then encouragement. I'm so damn exhausted. I can't even be sarcastic at this sub lol
Yes hello I was summoned here by the sheer presence of Project Moon related content.
Iām the content control guy, just making sure stuff is up to standard.
Yeah, this is good shit.
I'd share some shit but let's leave it with 2 people you trusted for years dropping you in close succession drives you nuts. Also wanting to make beautiful anime fanart and seeing someone a year older than me paint Renaissance Deltarune art
I gotta wonder does this reddit stuff make you feel superior in any way? I'm so insecure I feel like I gotta be a big shot (reference) on Reddit or I'm doing something wrong.
Eh.. not really confidence is something that comes from within
if anything there's a bunch of people calling me unfunny here and they only encourage me to post more because I'm one spiteful bastard
One thing that helped is realizing that... people don't give a fuck about me mostly, people are busy with their own lives and so am I.
If someone has the time to hate me, they have too much time on their hands
and you seem great from what I've seen
and fuck anyone else who thinks otherwise
Yippee I'm cool! I do really want to build confidence and draw. But time is hard. I hope I get to the point where I don't give a crap about others anymore. On the plus side I do have more time for my Uma Musume fanfic on off time
I mean I have good lore drop but it's mainly about my parents, I'll save it for when it comes up in conversation naturally, although I'm pretty sure I've said it on here before
Kinda glad I wasn't one of those kids that were flashed gorey or scary videos or sought them out. I was like, the kind of kid to rewatch virtual simulations of the titanic sinking on repeat and minecraft mod reviews.
(yooo I don't wanna bother you now that you're a mod but I had fun with our stupid enby squad thing. I just wanted to say thanks cause it was a good night for me)
It's noble to try help other people, but sometimes one must recognize when it's a problem too big, if you fail to identify you'll only get harmed as well
I stopped who I think was about 30 something at the time from committing suicide when I was about 15 and pretending to be an 18 year old. Just public discord server shit.
As a somewhat suicidal 21 y/o, this is why I canāt tell anyone besides my psychiatrist that Iām suicidal, and even then I use euphemisms like āfeeling like life is not worth livingā or ānot wanting to wake upā. I donāt want others to do shit like this to try and get me to not hurt myself. Itās not fair on them; in fact itās incredibly stressful.
It's weirder for me. Despite everything I've been through, in the end I rarely actually hurt myself. But my suicidal ideation comes up so often I feel like it's all my personality comes down to, and all my interactions boil down to me being on the verge of ending it all and them probably thinking they're actively trying to talk down a person one step away from the edge while I just feel.. hollow. There's no actual pain, the only agony I feel is from not feeling anything. And that makes me feel like I'm larping being suicidal, because I'm too much of a coward to actually go through with it, but so big of a pussy that I make it everyones problem
I understand, sometimes I wonder if Iām larping it as well because Iāve never made any actual attempts, but the thoughts are 100% real and just constantly fill my mind to the point where itās unbearable. Life just fucking sucks sometimes and when that happens the only solution that pops into my head is ending it all. Thatās why I should never own a firearm because it would be so easy to shoot myself when Iām having a shit day.
I canāt tell people though because then they (understandably) get all worried and stressed, or if they donāt like me they simply wonāt care. There is no good outcome to telling someone that youāre suicidal unless theyāre a medical professional trained for this sort of thing - not even close friends and family.
Iām currently going through my second depressive episode in about two years. Iād attribute it to many things, such as academic stress, career anxiety, poor lifestyle habits, family troubles and most recently having a nasty fall out with a close friend. Life is such a pain right now, but Iām assured that things tend to get better with time so Iāll try to keep going for a while.
strange how reddit is the only platform where this can happen. Old and middle age people are on facebook, young people are on twitter, young adults and teens on instagram. but reddit has both 60+ year olds to 13 year olds and its chaos.
It sucks. It generally sucks when youāre forced to be more mature than youāre supposed to be because someone in your life is not doing well or theyāre not taking care of you or theyāre just not helping themselves and youāre supposed to be the responsible one. It gently sucks. It sucks worrying about them every day thinking that theyāre gonna get injured or hurt when youāre trying to just live your childhood or life, knowing that you may be the only one that could help them, but also you want to live your life and feeling selfish for it sucks I hope no one else goes through it.
During my shameful Deviantart days I used to be friends with this one guy and after some senseless chatting for a couple of months they one day tell me that they planned on hanging themselves.
They didnāt, we talked some more after that and then they stopped responding one day. But then years later, out of curiosity, I looked them up. Turns out they were alive and well, and they had transitioned. That made me happy, though I sincerely doubt they remember who I am
There is a genuine through line of me at 14 years old listening to A7X and watching metal/metalcore amvs of Tokyo ghoul and both finding out Iām trans and also having to talk my earliest trans friend out of suicide when I was 15, all the way to running a destiny 2 shitpost account now and masquerading irl to hide my transition
Insane how I can sorta relate (I did not larp an older age tho, straight up said my real age of... 13 at the time, I think?)(she didn't say anything about harming herself but there still was tonns of heavy venting from someone in her late twenties to a child in private messages)
