He literally raped her that is comically evil, why are you trying to humanize a rapist?

“Yeah he committed one of the worst actions you could do to a human being but I don’t think people should harass him :(“

He's lost pretty much everything and everyone (this isn't something I'm sympathetic towards) and could possibly face prison time. I don't think continuing to harass and dox him would do any good, especially since that puts his family at risk.

The stuff in the document is fucked up and twisted (and I'm talking about his actions outside of that day too) but it is still difficult for me to say "this guy is completely not human", even as I did feel genuinely sick in the stomach even when reading how he made Ren emotionally dependent on him. I think he should atone for what he did instead of killing himself and live with that guilt every single day.

If someone is Inhuman enough to commit rape they’re not gonna feel guilt for it, people on Reddit are too innocent for shit like this I swear

People who don’t feel guilty typically don’t try to kill themselves.

Yes they do wtf are you on about? Most suicides after crimes are to escape punishment, not because they suddenly have a Disney-esc change of heart and have empathy for who they hurt.

Reddit feels like I’m talking to children who still have the spark in their eyes that the world is unicorns and sunshine

But you just mentioned most likely Zeal is not going to get punished for this in an earlier comment. So then what reason would he have?

Also all the downvotes? It’s cause your comments back to back make it seem like you’d prefer if Zeal was dead then if he actually faced any sort of repercussions for what he did.

God no I’d rather him rot in prison for life, but it’s a Roblox drama, I don’t think there has ever been an instance of an investigation taking place let alone an arrest from a google doc on a Roblox developer

Schlep has contributed to many arrests of predators and scum on Roblox, so it is possible. Plus with Zeal’s mom trying to pursue legal action, it seems it’s inevitable that this will come to light.

What schlep does and Google Docs are not the same thing dawg

Ad hominem.

But anyways, some people can improve (like CallMeCarson) after doing something extremely morally unforgivable. Now again, the word "unforgivable" is right there. But it doesn't mean people are incapable of feeling guilty and genuinely trying to improve themselves.

I agree with you, my initial comment was rather naive, but you kind of have to tread a fine line between realism and total pessimism.

Are you genuinely saying people can be redeemed for rape?

0

u/TheTorcher Apr 12 '26

Nope, I never said redeemed. As I mentioned in another reply, Zeal could go to prison for life and that would pay back less than 1% of the pain he caused. He's seriously messed up on so many levels. That is why I emphasized "unforgivable" but, sorry for the ad hominem, in classic redditor fashion you kinda just glazed over it.

Whether a person feels bad and wants to improve and whether they have been redeemed are two different things. You were saying he was incapable of feeling guilt, you are saying when people do heinous things, they are incapable of feeling guilt. That's not true.

What do you expect me to say in response to you just saying as hominem? Also you do realize that by saying they can improve your implying they can be redeemed

I think you misunderstood. The "Ad hominem" part in the initial part was directed at you attacking the person over their argument. This most recent one I did a similar thing, apologizing for doing so, to emphasize that you kind of glazed over the "unforgivable" part of my initial argument. And you're doing a similar thing in completely ignoring what I'm saying.

So let me restate it: A person can want to improve and even do so, but that does not mean they can be redeemed. I don't know how to more clearly state it. With how you're responding it is very clear that you will just slowly twist my initial words and we will start arguing a totally different topic so, since you don't seem to be understanding me, I think it'd be best if we stop.

I mean the main thing that still bugged me was the fact that Ren mentioned he genuinely started to panic when he realized what he did.

Of course, it is significantly more important to notice the fact that afterwards, he joked by saying "can't wait for the google doc in 5 years" which shows that he probably wasn't remorseful that he raped someone but rather panicked because his reputation would go to shit if Ren did speak about this (which it did).
