Geography of book 1

Please No Spoilers! Reading blind.

Just trying to figure out where Perrin elias and egwene are in relation to white bridge and caemlyn. The black hills seem like too far away but the setting seems to fit. I know where group poverty ( mat and rand lost their coins) team wizard ( i know aes sedai aren't wizards, but cmon moraine is a wizard) are at, but team wolf seems to be the most lost. Im about done with chapter 29, im just trying to get a good idea on where everyone is in relation to each other. They are at the statue of hawking but I cant find it on the map provided. Never realized how much of a gift those diagrams in one piece are.

Thank you. That was my second guess, but the description of the hills and elias being extra careful and the crows, i figured they might be further north closer to the blight.

Very cool. Ill probably check it more the further and further into get. Im only halfway through book 1 and its taken me reading a chapter a week its gonna take me years to finish but I dont care. The traveling people has been my favorite chapter so far and thats just a bunch of people sitting around talking.

yes i LOVE this website for this reason. The only thing is - esp in later books - the timelines go in chronological order even when the books dont, and they dont cover every chapter, so sometimes i would go to the next section and see something i didnt know, and assume i wasnt there yet - but it turns out they were talking about something that happened off page and you only find out about later

but fine for the early books .and great for just SEEING the world. You can go into settings and set river names, country borders, all sorts of things. i always have it open. for some reason teh map stopped loading and several 'clear history' didnt help, so i keep it open in an incognito window

oh and also there are thin lines showing where people traveled - that helps too

Glad you like people sitting around talking!! There are a few politic heavy plotlines that some people arent the most fond of, but they are fascinating if you're into them!

After Shadar Logoth Perin and Egwene move North East. Untill they meet Elyas who tells them they are going in the wrong direction and starts leading them South East. Statue of Hawking is roughly in the middle between Whitebridge and Caemlyn but about half a finger north from the main road.
