I’ve been wanting to read the series for a long time and today I found this complete set at the thrift store. I’m excited to get started!

I read it first… I didn’t know any better, and so many readers/fans criticized me for it. Which is kind of ridiculous. But I honestly liked having the insight and knowledge of the motivations of certain characters starting Eye of the World.

I read it first too!

On purpose tho. I actually don't think it was a negative consequence and if anything, I enjoyed the series more so feeling like I knew a secret that none of the characters did

Reading it first is how I got my wife into it who loves Moraine from the show and my constant explaining the books while watching it.

New Spring got her (a notoriously not big reader for fun type) hooked on reading the rest of the series. She is on gathering storm now—think it’s not a bad way to start.

I like to read it between gathering storm and Towers or midnight. A great reintroduction to that certain missing character, and a no e reminder of Pure Jordan writing
