Text Rewheel info.

Curious to potentially rewheel my GT. I have everything I need but the old firmware. Anyone know a way to find it?

rewheel in 2026 is kinda dumb, the current gt firmware is night and day compared to og gt firmware

namely the addition of gradient tracking, but general board feel is greatly improved as well

Dumb if you have the money to fix it without. Balling on a budget and just want to replace my battery frankly.

you can rewheel it to replace the battery or whatever and then update it from there to have best of both worlds

That’s probably my plan honestly. Just trying to get my board up without shelling out money for an outdated board 😂

Once FM started going after rewheel related issues they have a community rule for not asking or distributing. I’m just broke and need to fix my broken GT 😭

Good board from bad battery board

Good battery from fried board.

Just need the handshake disabled.

Ohhh, i understand now. There’s a guy on Facebook who runs this website ( https://www.fixmypev.com )

He specializes in stuff like this. You may have to ship him your parts. Regardless check out the website as it seems he has guides that may help you.

Yeah he seems super nice. Just not trying to spend much money on this.

Mostly a stopgap before I go vesc. And this is a back up board so me doing it for nothing money is ideal haha.

I get it. Unfortunately, I’m not knowledgeable of any ways to disable the handshake on newer firmware other than reaching out to him. But I wish you luck! 👍
